An industry-wide, hardware-based security vulnerability was disclosed today. Keeping customers secure is always our top priority and we are taking active steps to ensure that no U2Cloud customer is exposed to these vulnerabilities.
With the public disclosure of the security vulnerability today, we have accelerated the planned maintenance to begin on January 6, 2018.
During this update, we strive to maintain our SLA commitments outside the emergency maintenance window (4am-6am EST). Operating system and data disks on your VM will be retained during this maintenance.
We’ve worked to optimize the CPU and disk I/O path however the industry recognizes that there may be some impact on performance.
